WHAT ARE COOKIES? Cookies are text files used to perform automatic authentication, track sessions, and store specific information about users accessing the server, such as favorite websites or, in the case of online purchases, the contents of their shopping carts. Cookies are not programs, but simple blocks of data that cannot perform any action on the computer by themselves. They are sent from a server to a web client (usually a browser) and then sent back by the client to the server each time the client accesses the same portion of the web domain. Cookies are often identified by anti-spyware programs because they can allow the user to be identified.

TREATMENT METHODS

Personal data is processed by staff at the “Città di Rovigo” srl Private Nursing Home specifically assigned to do so, using automated tools and for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. Specifically, the patient’s clinical data (for example, laboratory reports, hospitalization documentation, reports, and images of histological biopsy specimens or surgical specimens) are stored in a computerized archive within the Nursing Home. This archive is theoretically accessible to all healthcare professionals working within the facility through appropriate authentication procedures. This allows the identification and tracking of healthcare professionals accessing the information processed through the Dossier, as well as the ability to request the reasons for such access.
